Linguistic support for a major international software and consulting company servicing Russian businesses and government institutions

Several years ago one of the world's largest software (SW) companies announced a bid to select a supplier of a complete spectrum of linguistic services on the territory of Russia and CIS countries.  During the negotiations process, Neotech specialists pinpointed the customer’s requirements of the process’s organization and the services provided, and in the course of a month a task force was assembled which included SW interface translators, translators and editors for document translation, and a project manager.  From the very beginning the project group’s activity was based on strict compliance with the customer’s requirements of the data exchange process, terminology, and translation style.  One month of work later the customer received several hundred pages of instructional documentation, corresponding completely to their requirements and to earlier translations.

Simultaneously, the customer’s current correspondence and marketing and commercial documentation were likewise being translated.  A part of the translators were instructed in the use of the customer’s specialized SW, and proceeded with the translation of interface elements both for new systems being introduced to the Russian market and for updated existing SW.

As oral translations are requested by the customer, Neotch provides interpreters selected and prepared in advance on the basis of our understanding of the specifics of the customer's tasks, permitting our translators to facilitate the success of negotiations with clients and partners for the customer's representatives.

Fruitful collaboration with this customer has now continued for several years, throughout which Neotech on the one hand constantly expanding the corresponding project group, allotting particular attention to instructing our employees in the customer’s requirements, and on the other hand developing new solutions for the tasks set us by the customer.
