Neotech’s IT group provides linguistic support at all stages of the life cycle of software (SW) created, used, and implemented by our customers.
The IT group performs the following tasks for customers:
- Localization of SW interfaces intended for introduction to the Russian market
- Translation of installation instructions, user manuals, and instructional materials for course instructors and independent study
- For our customers’ marketing departments: linguistic adaptation of informational bulletins, client case studies, and presentation materials describing SW possibilities and advantages
- Selection and provision of translators for presentations, negotiations with potential and existing SW purchasers, and SW implementation on platforms of our customers’ clients
- In bids for supplying specialized SW to state departments and major companies: translation of documentation for the bidding organizers, bids, correspondence, and final documents.
Since Neotech specializes in major projects whose linguistic support requires the participation of a large number of translators and editors, particular attention is given to terminological and linguistic uniformity of all documentation, both in translation from Russian to the foreign language and vice versa. To achieve this, a range of organizational methods are used, including precise division of team member responsibilities, business process optimization, and application of specialized translation process software solutions.
When our customers have their own requirements for the SW employed, team workflow, and project execution, these are carefully studied and implemented into the work of the IT group, ensuring complete integration into the customer’s production process. When the customer has no system of their own – the normal situation for companies first encountering the necessity of translating large volumes of documentation – our specialists develop a solution for the customer that produces a translation of the necessary quality in the time specified and with minimal labor costs.
