T-Service and Neotech KZ sign agreement to promote SDL TRADOS solutions in Kazakhstan
March 1, 2010. T-Service, SDL's official representative in Russia and the CIS countries, announces that an agreement has been signed with Neotech KZ, Neotech's regional representative office.
The dynamically developing Kazakhstan market is the constant focus of the specialists at T-Service. Numerous clients in Almaty, Astana, and Atyrau, including major extracting, refining, mining and processing, and oil and gas companies and suppliers of technological solutions, as well as impressive demand on the part of freelance translators – all this requires a high level of support.
In order to react efficiently to client requests and to demonstrate SDL Trados' abilities in Kazakhstan, T-Service needed to find a reliable partner with hands-on experience working with SDL Trados. At Neotech's kind invitation, the company found this partner in Neotech's regional representative office in Kazakhstan.
Neotech, which operates in the technical translation segment, became one of the first linguistic companies in Russia to acquire the SDL Trados solution, implement it, and actively employ it in the company’s daily operations. Neotech is the largest professional translation company in Russia and the CIS countries. The company provides services to global corporations, and became the first on the Russian market to pass certification of its quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. The Kazakhstan representative office has been operating since 2005, and is oriented towards providing linguistic support both to international companies operating within Kazakhstan and to local organizations interested in developing their business abroad. The expanded spectrum and high quality of services, and their accessibility and convenience, due, among other things, to a modern technological base – all this quickly won over the confidence of their clients, many of whom have been working with Neotech KZ on a regular basis for several years.
As part of the signed agreement, special training is planned for the Neotech KZ representatives, which will cover both technical and commercial issues: the differences in available systems, particularities of licensing, etc. At the Kazakhstan office, workstations will be set up equipped with the latest version of SDL Trados Studio 2009. Potential users will be able to view a live demonstration of the system's operation, have questions answered, and consult a specialist.
In addition, seminars are being planned for corporate clients in Kazakhstan involving representatives from SDL and T-Service. Similar seminars have already been held by specialists many times for corporate clients in Moscow and Kiev. The corporate seminar is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the latest SDL Trados solutions, hear from active system users, exchange implementation experience, learn about the challenges facing clients and the means of meeting them, and demonstrate the advantages of SDL Trados server solutions, intended for managing multilingual projects in large organizations.
The first seminar, scheduled for early October, will be in conjunction with the 18th Kazakhstan International Exposition "Oil and Gas 2010" – the peak commercial period in Kazakhstan.
"We are most appreciative of Neotech's offer to collaborate with us in this area through their Kazakhstan representative office," said Svetlana Svetova, director of T-Service.
Pavel Dunaev, Neotech's director of operations, had this to say about the agreement: "Aside from vast experience and knowledge accumulated over 18 years of operation, one important advantage of our company has always been and remains the use of new technologies for order processing and project management. We sincerely hope for the continued development of collaboration on SDL Trados' modern technological solutions with so reliable a partner as T-Service."
