Localization World-2009

Once again, Neotech has taken part in one of the largest international professional conferences in the translation industry: Localization World-2009, held June 8-10 in Berlin.

This is the twelfth time that the Localization World annual conference, which for several days brings together professional players on the international translation services market, has met beneath the aegis of The Localization Institute and MultiLingual Computing, Inc (a professional international information resource).
Like the other conferees, Neotech representatives come to Localization World each year to study the latest professional tools and techniques, become acquainted with new market players, and meet with tried and true international partners. This year the conference was attended by over 460 representatives of the largest service providers and customers for major translation projects.
Being well aware that translation is not an end in itself, but rather comprises an important phase in taking local business to a global, international level, the conference organizers proposed appropriate thematic units. In each thematic session, representatives of major companies shared their stories of success and the various aspects of developing global business.
It is important to note that areas of focus such as information technologies, automobile manufacture, and medical equipment manufacture and pharmacology, in which Neotech specializes, have remained some of the most relevant on today's translation services market.
To help with the organization of seminars and round tables and the preparation of presentations for the conference, Localization World employed highly-qualified international-level professionals from GALA, the leading market operators (Lionbridge, Welocalize, AAC, and others),  and even major customers (Microsoft, SAP, Audi AG, Siemens AG), all of which vividly demonstrates an acute professional interest in the event.
